The AutomationDirect SVL-204 SureServo AC Servo Motor was a 400W, low inertia, brushless servo motor designed for precise motion control applications. It featured a 3-phase input and a 2,500-line encoder providing 10,000 counts per revolution. This motor was intended for use with the SureServo SVA-2040 400W drive. The SVL-204B includes an integrated brake, which requires wiring 24VDC to function equivalently to the SVL-204. Additionally, if you're considering upgrading your entire servo system, the SureServo2 series offers the SV2L-204N motor as a modern alternative. Please be aware that components from the original SureServo and the newer SureServo2 systems are not compatible; therefore, mixing components from different families is not advised.
