TL-U Scanner (Edge or Line Sensor): Optical scanner for detecting printed marks, lines, or web edges Provides input to the 2500 controller to detect misregistration Can be adjusted for contrast sensitivity Often uses infrared or visible spectrum LED illumination 3. B2369 Encoder: Rotary incremental encoder Provides line speed or rotational feedback Typically mounted on a roll shaft or web to provide real-time position reference Standard output: A/B quadrature with optional index pulse 4.
